Lone traveller: Kourtney Kardashian had to remove her shoes to be screened at LAX on Sunday, whilst also trying to carry her youngest son, Reign - who turns one in December Chilling out: The diminutive eldest of the Kardashian siblings is reportedly taking a break to a retreat, after suffering in the stress of the break-up - said to be caused by Scott's excessive partying

Something's afoot: The 36-year-old reality television star enlisted a helpful fellow traveller to take off her black sneakers, as she struggled to cope by herself



She's been coming to terms with her heartbreak since splitting with her long-term partner and father of her three children, Scott Disick, this summer She carried baby Reign on her right hip as she arrived for her flight 

Single mum: She appeared to only have nine-month-old son Reign with her, checking in without Mason, five, and three-year-old Penelope Layers: She brightened up her simple outfit with a patterned scarf

Low maintenance: The 5ft tall star kept it low-key with her glossy locks worn loose and carefree and minimal make-up bar a little bronzer on her cheekbones

Transit fashion: Her comfortable outfit of black leggings and a baggy grey long-sleeved t-shirt was given a rockier edge with a leather biker jacket Security checks: She covered her eyes with jet-black glasses as she arrived at the airport, but also had to remove those and her jacket to be put through the X-Ray machine

Adorable: Kourtney proudly showed off her ten-month-old son Reign to a fellow traveller 

Heartbreak: Kourtney has noticeably lost weight since becoming a single parent, and has barely raised a smile when seen out and about in public recently

Assistance: The gentleman then helped the reality TV star remove her shoes for scanning

Helping hand: She handed her strawberry blonde tot, who may well have the Kardashian's sense of style - but certainly doesn't share their exotic colouring - to her assistant  Reign was cutely turned out in a mini-denim jacket with black leather detail which complemented his mum's cover-up

He was wearing black trousers not too dissimilar to her own transit styling
