9 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MISS LADYFINGER

Miss Ladyfinger (aka Taryn Multack) is unlike any nail artist I've seen! She takes looks from fashion runways and turns them into dope manis. It's so crazy. You just have to see what I'm talking about. And if you want to recreate any of Taryn's nails, she puts up step-by-step tutorials on MissLadyfinger.com!
Check out my team's interview with her below to find out some highlights from Taryn's career—like the time she was invited to the White House and when she did my mom's nails, lol.

I've created over 300 nail art designs! Choosing just one favorite is like asking to choose which kid I love more. I'd say my top three favorite looks that I replicated from the runway are Kendall in Chanel Couture Spring '15, a look from Balmain Spring '15 and Beyoncé in a white lace dress at the 2014 Grammys.

I think it would be really fun to give Kylie some graphic nail art to complement her outfits. Taking her high-end fashion and bringing it full circle to complete her red carpet looks or killer street style.
3
I take my inspiration straight from the runways. I am backstage at all the New York Fashion Week shows (this February marks my 11th season!), so I get to see the runway looks firsthand. Once Fashion Month ends, I scour Vogue's website for my favorite looks from each show. Then, I turn each look into a nail art masterpiece.

My go-to is Essie for quality polish to use as base colors to my designs. I also love the indie brand Ginger+Liz for their uniquely bright shade range—plus, their polish is also vegan. My absolute favorite shade I whip out only for special occasions isChanel's highly coveted Peridot.
5
I've always wanted to try nail art that extends past your nail bed to your fingers—almost like henna but integrated with the nail design. With a silver metallic or black, I think that could look really cool.
6
I worked with 7 for All Mankind for two seasons in a row creating nail art inspired by their new line of holiday denim [see below]. Last year, I also hosted an event with H&M at their brand new flagship store in Times Square. That was amazing, too!

In 2011, I was at New York Fashion Week with my day job, doing trend forecasting, and I was so inspired by all the prints coming off the runways, that I went home to replicate it into nail art. I started tweeting my work to beauty editors, met with Teen Vogue shortly thereafter and then press just skyrocketed. I quit my corporate job in 2012 to pursue Miss Ladyfinger full time and the rest is history!

Essie approached me in January of 2015 to lead their social media strategy—so now I run my business AND have my corporate dream job. #girlboss

I'm so grateful to have many big moments with Miss Ladyfinger. Being invited to the White House as one of Tumblr's 20 Most Influential Bloggers was such an incredible honor. Doing nails for the one and only Kris Jenner was a super fun career moment, too!
