Los Angeles-based manicurist Chelsea King has been killing it in the nail game since she was just a teen! Her designs are so colorful and creative—they look like little mini paintings. You will be obsessed.
Check out Chelsea's work and some fun facts my team found out about her, like the crazy places she's worked on clients and which fashion designers inspire her!

One of my favorite looks I've done were these shattered glass nails. I cut out tiny pieces of colored cellophane tissue paper and placed them one by one!

I've always been artistic, and in high school I would paint my friends' nails for school dances. I eventually just transitioned the art onto a much smaller canvas (nails) and the rest is history! As for doing it professionally, it all sort of just happened very quickly. I started posting on social media and it took off from there. I booked my first job on set at 19!

I always get my inspiration from the runway; fashion trends look amazing on nails! I've done nails inspired by Balmain, Valentino and Louboutin [see below]. The list goes on!

I think clean, classic nails are going to be popular this year. As much as I love nail art, it's always nice to have a clean nail. I love doing a nude nail with matte top coat.

Other than having a steady hand, my secret nail tool is using an angled eyeliner brush dipped in polish remover to clean up any polish you get on your skin. It instantly makes your nails look like a professional did them!

I'm always working in funny positions on clients. Sometimes I'm underneath a table giving a pedicure or in the back of a car! My job as a manicurist has taught me to be very versatile and have a steady hand!

I'm really into the colors Revlon has right now. Their shade "Wild Card" is an amazing bright blue.

I went to college to study psychology and planned on going into law enforcement ... but clearly that didn't happen!
