I FILLED OUT MY OWN 'REVENGE BODY' APPLICATION!
I'm so excited to be hosting a new show called "Revenge Body" that's coming your way! "Revenge Body" is all about getting the contestants to be the best version of themselves. We're still in the early planning stages, but I thought it'd be fun if I answered some of the same questions that our applicants are answering!!! Scroll down to read about my most embarrassing moments and my childhood dreams.
1. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENTS YOU EXPERIENCED AS A KID?
When I was little and all my friends would be in their bathing suits at the beach or pool parties or summer camp, I would always be the chubby one. I never felt comfortable. I would make up a story to get out of those situations. Back then, one-piece bathing suits weren't cute and I wasn't going to be in a bikini! They'd be like, "Come on, get in the pool!" I wish they knew what it was doing to me.
I was really chubby from age 10 to 14, and even teachers would always say to me, "You're really Kim and Kourtney's younger sister?" They wouldn't outright say "you're ugly" or "you're fat," but adults need to realize what their words do to kids. A 10-year-old can still pick up on that energy.
I always played sports, too, and when we were in volleyball, the uniform might not fit. Or, I'd be out shopping and ask them if they had a size 8. Their response would be, "No, we don't carry that size." It's about how they said it, too. I would rather they just say, "We sold out of that size." Now, that I run a clothing store, I would never, ever say, "We don't carry that size"!!!
2. WHAT WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD DREAM?
As crazy as it is, I always wanted to a Victoria's Secret model, LOL! I loved Tyra Banks. I remember I went to a father/daughter dance with my dad and everyone was asking the daughters what they wanted to be when they grew up. All the girls said 'doctor' or 'lawyer.' I said, "A Victoria's Secret Angel"! My dad was like, "OMG!" When Kendall finally became an Angel, it was so exciting! Someone from our family did it!
As I got older though, I wanted to work with kids in some capacity, like being a preschool teacher or social worker. My ex and I were even trying to be foster parents at one point! I also wanted to be a veterinarian who drove an RV around and picked up stray animals. I always thought it would be easy to be a vet, but now I know it's so hard. I could never put an animal down!
3. WHO WERE YOU IN HIGH SCHOOL?
In high school, I was athletic. I did every sport: volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball. I was super competitive and being on a team was so fun! I was never a cheerleader or goth. I wasn't a party girl, but I was super social. I was liked by teachers and students because I liked to be friends with everyone, especially people who were bullied. I always wanted everyone to be happy and get along.
4. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF WITHIN YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS?
Choose all that apply: The Leader, The Glue, The Pushover, The Follower, The Bitch, The Social Butterfly, The Planner, The Negative Nancy, The Confident One.
I think that I'm a few of these! In my family, I think I'm the Glue, but I could also be the Pushover—it depends on who is asking me to do something, LOL. I'm definitely the Bitch, for sure, as well as the Social Butterfly. I'm also the Follower sometimes, especially with Kourt—I'll just follow whatever she tells me to do! I'm basically everything! That's how many personalities I have, LOL.
