If you follow me on Snapchat then you know I've been wearing a sauna suit for a minute! The one I'm using now is from a brand called "GoFit", but I don't stick to only one specific brand. You can buy them at any sporting goods store or online. (Buy the one I'm using right now, here.)
Sauna suits aren't very expensive because they're "trash bag" material. You can buy a top and pants, but they're sold separately. I wear just the jacket, but I have worn both before. They supposedly insulate your heat and elevate your body temperature so they double, or triple, the amount you would sweat. If you're doing cardio, it gets rid of excess water weight. I feel like it does help you burn more calories, and really just shreds you up. I love the way it feels.
MY SAUNA SUIT TIPS:
1. The material is pretty thin so it's definitely going to rip if you make big movements.
2. After a couple uses or if a tear appears, I recommend getting a new one.
3. Wash your sauna suit after every use or it will be gross. I handwash it in the sink.
4. I like wearing the sauna suit during cardio, but you burn more calories and break a sweat faster even if you're lifting weights.
5. Most importantly, you have to drink double or triple the water you normally would or you could get too dehydrated because you're sweating so much.
